Please familiarize yourself with our classroom website- You will find classroom policies, schedules and announcements, upcoming events (including due dates), and other important information. This course is primarily a foundational one, meaning that we will cover basic concepts for you to build upon during your education. If you have any questions, please refer to the syllabus, or feel free to contact me via phone or email.
In order to ensure that students in different classrooms are covering the same learning objectives on the same schedule, my class follows the school curriculum map. Though the dates are not absolute, the school year is divided into 6 separate units as follows:
Unit 1: Essay Writing Workshop
Unit 2: Short Stories
Unit 3: Poetry
Unit 4: Drama- Romeo and Juliet
Unit 5: The Novel- To Kill a Mockingbird
Unit 6: Greek Mythology
